Come To My Window …
By: Taban Khajehnassiri

Despite all the problems our world is facing now, despite all the bad things all around, despite all the negative situations, events or thoughts, I choose to think positive, to do something positive and I choose to have faith in what I have started or done.

Despite any adverse personal, social and economic impact it might have on its (IT) users, workers and investors, the Internet is expanding and growing so fast and wide. Many new users are coming in and going out, many websites are being just constructed or reconstructed in the matter of seconds, many IT workers are doing their best to build up this information highway wider and faster than ever before, the whole process is so difficult. Still, many net investors and leaders think, think and think to create more traffic and sales for their own websites. They are now thinking of the coming events and gifts for: This Holiday Season, Christmas, and the new year 2002. However, in the mean time, yet another report on beggars, broken families, prostitution, drug and child abuse is now being published somewhere in the world. Yet another news story is being prepared for the recent organized crime in the local area. Yet another suspect is being arrested in the streets of the East or West. Yet another drug dealer is now being sentenced or punished because of dealing drugs in public parks, alleys, under bridges and undergrounds. Yet another drug addict is now being found dead just becuase of using dirty needles and that deadly disease spreading world wide, AIDS. Yet another journalist is now being threatened on the phone or in an unknown e-mail: "You good-for-nothing reporter! You deserve a bullet in the head!" Still, wars on this planet. Still, terrorism on this planet. Still, the game of seek and hide is under its way in Afghanistan. Still many world leaders think, think and think how to trap Bin Laden there in the caves and mountains. Still the prehistoric man think, think and think of a new kind of hate (electronic) mail, or a new virus, another new electronic invention - a single-warhead website-to-website missile. Still many lose their lives, still many lose their families, their friends and colleagues. Still many lose their jobs, their sites, their visitors, their customers and clients, many lose their capitals. Many lose their interests. Many lose their self-control, their self-confidence, their self-esteem. Alas, still, many will lose hope. However, the success goes to the one (individual, team or company) who resists and fights back despair. My own compassion for the people of the world and especially my own country, Iran, influenes me to keep this site running and going, to keep this activity alive, to build and create more jobs for the young generation. I am looking for those opportunities I have been dreaming over the last ten years. I expect to achieve the success with every single step I take towards all my written goals - as I learned it from the author and speaker, Mark Victor Hansen and his co-author Jack Canfield, to write my own 101 goals and wishes, - Chicken Soup for the Soul book series and the Aladdin Factor. As I can now recall, the feeling started when I had the chance to read Wayne Dyer's books, and there I found that I CAN DO IT. I had also this chance to watch a live Stephen Covey's speech for a group of top managers and CEO's of the world via satellite and learn about his Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and his 'change' factor. Since then I do know what I do want, and I know that I can do it and in case I learned that I can change but move forward. Over the last decade, I learned the basics of journalism, and tutored myself in English, technical writing, copywriting, proofreading, writing articles, computer, communications and then the Internet skills. In the era of Information Technology, I found it a must to learn about these skills. Over the last five years I have tried to network, to stay in touch with my friends, to communicate fully with them, to keep and build up many new friendships, and more important to think more and more, and believe me that THINKING was the hardest part of the job I chose to do. Despite all the problems our world is facing now, despite all the bad things all around, despite all the negative situations, events or thoughts, I choose to think positive, to do something positive and I choose to have faith in what I have started or done. I do believe, still, like me, many, like you, will try for the betterment of their own planet, their own continent, their own country, their own people. I do have hope. Come to my window and see the whole world all in peace, in blue and green, see the world, and pray for it, hope for it.
